Cretan Rambler:
This 8 day hike along Crete's coast, through dramatic gorges and along isolated beaches travels well clear of regular tourist trails, visiting tiny villages and choosing little-known, spectacular paths.
Starting from London - Crete [Greece]- Day 2, a visit to Knossos Palace and drive to Khania for a walking tour, then a short drive to Omalos. Day 3 is a hike in the White Mountains. Day 4 a hike through the Samaria Gorge to Ayia Roumeli and a ferry to Loutro. Day 5 is spent in Loutro village with optional walk in Aradhena Gorge. Day 6 involves a boat around Khora Sfakion and drive via Preveli monastery to Zaros. Day 7 is spent in Zaros village with a hike in Zaros Gorge. Day 8 drive to Heraklion and fly to London.

Walking Corfu:
This 13 day hiking tour of Greece uses the footpaths of ancient Corfu, crossing this lovely Greek island on part of the 220km Corfu Trail, hiking 5-6 hours a day through little old villages, staying at tavernas or hotels, past magnificent monasteries, along spectacular coastal sections and dazzling beaches.

Ancient Macedonia:
This 14 day tour through Greece, Macedonia and Bulgaria starts in Sofia with superb scenery as we cross into east Macedonia and spend the night at a 12thC monastery on the slopes of the Osogovo mountains. In Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, we'll visit the fortress, Mustafa Pasha Mosque and the Old Bazaar, and perhaps an excursion to Matka Gorge.
Our route to UNESCO Site Lake Ohrid travels through Mavrovo National Park, and to St Jovan Bigorski Monastery, before winding through the spectacular Black Drim valley. We spend three nights in the ancient centre of Ohrid with a dramatic mountain backdrop encircling the waters of Lake Ohrid. Ohrid offers many attractions: Tsar Samoil's Fortress, the Roman amphitheatre for sensational panoramas, a trip on the lake, and a stroll around the Old Town's cobbled streets. Canoes and bicycles can be rented in town.
Leaving Ohrid, we cross the Livada Pass on the way through Galicica National Park and descend to the shores of Lake Prespa. After viewing impressive mosaics at the site of the ancient Macedonian town of Heraclea, we spend our last night in Macedonia in Pelister National Park.
Crossing into Greece, our first stop is Vergina and Pella, birthplace of Alexander the Great, before reaching the shores of the Aegean and the city of Thessaloniki. A boat trip along the coast of the fabled monastic retreat Mt Athos, a day trip by ferry to Thassos Island, and a visit to ancient Philippi complete our activities in northern Greece. Finally we head north back into Bulgaria to enjoy Rila Monastery and complete our circuit in Sofia.

Santorini - Athens:
This eight-day Greek island tour covers four of Greece's most famous islands, volcanic Santorini [Atlantis?!], Ios, Naxos and Paros, as well as Athens. From sunning on the black sandy beach of Santorini to hiking through medieval mountain villages in Naxos, opportunities to discover old and new Greece are plentiful. This is a 22 day tour starts in Croatia's famous walled port of Dubrovnik and ends in Greece's dramatically volcanic Santorini island, taking a look at Montenegro and Albania en route, travelling through some of Europe's most gorgeous scenery and historic cities, including Athens, Corfu and Mykonos islands.
Historic Crete - a 5 day self-guided walk:
This is a self-guided walking tour for independent travellers along a designated route and there is no tour leader guiding the way.
Discover the myths and legends of historic Crete on this adventure through some of Greece's most magnificent terrain. Stay in medieval villages and experience a way of life that is simple and based on ancient customs. While the walks may be challenging, the rewards are great, with local legends around every turn. From the beautiful coastal hikes, precarious cliff-side mule paths and cavernous gorges, to the vibrant flora and fauna and friendly locals, this is the perfect appetiser for anybody wanting a taste of the Cretan outdoors.
