Kalamitsi, Toroni beaches
Halkidiki

Kalamitsi
beach, Sithonia.
Just
about as far as you can travel in Sithonia without going amphibious,
tiny Kalamitsi village is very, very quiet, and has a large soft,
sheltered beach. This beach would suit couples or families who like
a less-than-wild night life but a quality beach experience - though
forget watersports.
New development is under construction and we hope that it's restrained
enough not to spoil the tranquility of this little known spot.
One
of Toroni's beaches, Sithonia.
Toroni
village sits right at the end of the Sithonia peninsula, a bit of
a hike to get to and not a lot of night action but for a tourist more
concerned with beautiful days than wild nights, this is an upcoming
destination. It's currently an attractive one horse town hosting a
scattered collection of little domatia, a taverna or two, a couple
of grocer stores and two excellent beaches. But not for long...
